Suneet Varma presents his first ever western Couture line on the 21st of Nov 2015 at DLF Emporio.
Suneet’s collection this season is drawn from several western inspirations including the Hollywood glamour, the sensational Studio 54 music and the very essence of youthful dressing. The collection features a range of 35 gowns, from formal evening shapes to light, flirty dresses in shaded chiffons and light weight silk organza. The structured gowns are voluminous and made in silk taffeta and knits to create asymmetrical drapes that are close to the body.
The wispy pastel line is in shades of light pink, icy blue and ivory and is draped in chiffons and layered with shaded net and gold lace appliqué with sprinkles of Swarovski crystals. The bodice is corset and the waist is nipped to create the hourglass figure, necklines are off the shoulder and draped to create soft cowls.
For the first time using very bold shades of cobalt blue, lime green and textured silk knits, Suneet has worked on this range creating large skirts with multi colored sequin embroideries in contemporary artworks and placements. The formal evening gowns have trails and placements of hand embroidered solstiss lace.
The Grecian dresses in stretch satin and georgette are ombré dyed and have beautiful Swarovski crystal mesh drapes around the necklines and the waist and create the perfect glamour for the red carpet.
